More Fall Fun

Kirk, Grandma and the kids went to Walsh Farms a few weeks back - I was busy at work teaching little kiddos how to read. We also went and picked pumpkins at Benders - we never did get around to carving them.

 Natalie & Grandma Gretchen

Dominic is big into showing his muscles these days

Dominic will also drive anything, anywhere :)

Natalie didn't let Nic have all the fun.

A cranky girl in search of the perfect pumpkin

 Those muscles are really workin'

Classic Talie - we sure love her!

For the life of me I could not get a good picture of Cara. Thankfully I had the kids' pictures taken professionally and there are some ADORABLE pics of her that will be coming soon.

Poor girl. It was windy! This picture perfectly shows her crazy hair. Most of it fell out and has been growing back in, but a good patch on the top remained, is extra long and got caught in the breeze - haha.

Halloween

I don't have a whole lot of time to say much, but we had a good Halloween this year. Dominic was a cow - and Natalie insisted on copying her brother. They're seriously cute though :) Cara is a lady bug. Sorry about the blurry images, I was adjusting to a new camera.

Gettysburg

Kirk and I got to go to Gettysburg for a couple days last week, sans kids :)
On the way there, it was raining and we saw a tiny rainbow. Kirk started talking about how he never sees really vibrant rainbows like he did in Utah. Right after he said that, we saw this huge double rainbow that spanned the whole sky - it was pretty awesome.

Me and honest Abe outside of the Gettysburg museum. I had never been to Gettysburg and was really impressed with the 150 year old Cyclorama painting of Pickett's Charge. This huge painting looks so real and has been persevered/restored since just a decade after the battle.

Kirk posing in-front of one of the many cannons they have displayed around the battlefield.

I actually don't remember which memorial this was - there were SO many, but I do remember it was along the Confederate lines.

View of Devils Den from Little Round Top.

Side view of Little Round Top

Looking up at Little Round Top from Devils Den - the Confederates charged this hill - which was help by the 20th Maine until they were out of munition and had to fight them off with bayonettes.

Kirk and I at Cemetery Hill - the site of Pickett's Charge.

The mile long stretch the Confederates charged - the final engagement of the battle.

Just as we were leaving we saw some Civil war reenactors.
